Well after lots and lots of studying, taking an intensive 3 day course, receiving and giving over 80 injections I am now officially allowed to do this. Yahooo!! Im still waiting for the state to approve my application so i have yet to try out my new skills on a pt...but everyone wanted to be my partner at the clinic so Im guessing thats a good thing...

One thing that we really miss from jacksonville (besides all the cool people) is the RAIN. It never rain's in las vegas and when it does it only lasts for a few minutes. By the time we realized it was raining and got on Austin's froggy boots, it had already stopped. He was sad until he found some water to splash in.... (which he also tried to drink). The first two pictures are from las vegas the last three are from jacksonville....compare the difference.

You might only appreciate this picture if you were there but it was seriously one of the funniest things I had seen in a long time. All of the three year olds took their turns not doing very much at all to it.....then Amara got hold of the bat and started smacking it all crazy..Ive never seen a six year old swing a bat like that!! And austin was standing on the side screaming her on. Maybe you had to be there...

By far this is my favorite. Its a baby sling. I use it all the time to free up my hands like when Im cooking or cleaning and Kennedy is demanding to be held. We also used it when we went hiking in St. George.

Shocky Monster

One the side of our front yard there is an electrical box. Austin USED to love to climb on it. I could not keep him off of it, I was continually telling him to not climb on it because it was dangerous. Well that all ended when he saw the picture on the box.

Austin " mommy is there a monster in there?"

Me " Yes thats why we cant play on it"

Austin " Mommy Im scared of that mean shocky monster"

Me "Dont worry he can only get out if you play on it"

Austin " I dont want that shocky monster to get out "

And after that he has not climbed on it and every time we go outside he asks about the shocky monster. ...I know its bad of me to lie to him but I just couldn't resist and it makes me laugh every time he asks.

Finally Pictures!!

So I know it's taken forever to post pictures of the birth and of Kennedy but we had some issues of Wall-mart losing my film (yes we still don't have a digital camera) so most of these pictures are courtesy of terri and laurie.

She was born on June 30th. The whole experience was wonderful! Im saying this because I got an epidural and she was a pound smaller than Austin :) She was 7.5 pounds and 19.5 inches long. We named her Kennedy (because we liked it) Adele (after my mother). She is a great baby and we love her to death!

We're Still Alive

Its been a long time since our last post and a lot has happened. Both Brian and I graduated and are done with school (bet you thought that would never happen) !!!!! And we have packed up and moved to Las Vegas (Henderson) Nevada. We are missing our friends, and trying to adjust to all of the change. Austin at least once a day, asks if Kylee can move to Las Vegas to. So here are some pictures of the two of them right before we left. I also have pictures of our graduations but my imac is having some issues so when we get that fixed there will be lots of pictures to come.

We miss all of our Florida friends especially the Astorgas :)

A few weeks ago before finals started we had a fun weekend at the beach and bowling. Austin loved it, and now asks to go bowling and to the beach every day.

Brian would throw him on his back and go running out into the waves.

The day we went to the beach they were having some kind of sand building contest. Austin's favorite was Horton the elephant. He has a Horton stuffed animal and book from Grandma Elmer, and we went and saw Horton Hears a Who. So he thought this was pretty cool.
